I am Mia Meng, a product designer with four years of full-time work experience. In addition to my career in design, I operate a small business focused on pet services and am the founder of the U.G.G. (UI/UX Girls Group) Community.
My passion for photography and deep affection for animals make my leisure time especially joyful, which is why I have also ventured into pet boarding and pet photography. I am committed to animal rescue, providing ongoing support to a stray animal station in China.
I am enthusiastic about the design field and eager to aid the growth of fellow women designers. The connections made during each U.G.G. Community event bring me immense joy as I meet many like-minded individuals.

I founded the U.G.G. Community after noticing a lack of networks for Chinese female designers in the United States. What started as a niche group has expanded to include all women designers, now encompassing over 500 members. The joy I feel when members find jobs, forge new friendships, or learn something through this platform is profound.
Helping others, for me, means helping myself—I am keen to share what I know and equally eager to learn from others. My love for this industry drives me to shine and contribute within this circle.

Animals have been a pivotal part of my life ever since I was young, having been raised with dogs, cats, rabbits, turtles, fish, and parrots. The sincerity and straightforward emotional expression I have learned from animals have been invaluable lessons.
However, the joy they bring me far exceeds the care I provide them. They have given me endless strength and healing. I consider myself fortunate to have turned my passion for animals into my career, a pursuit I believe will engage me for a lifetime.
